What is the best way to take care of fresh flowers?
my boyfriend gave me a bouquet of flowers and roses its a mix one..
what do i do in order for them to last a little longer..
do i take away the paper tissue and the plastic that came with it?
yes- take off all the paper and plastic and throw it away. there should be a little packet of flower food you just add to the water- don’t use super cold water either. before putting into a vase trim the stems about one inch on an angle (or how ever much you need to trim off to fit into your vase at the right height) and place in the water right away. also make sure there are no leaves in the water- just break off any leaf branches that are to low on the stem. then every two days change out the water and trim up the stems a bit for a fresh cut.
